longan harvest~~
Woke up by mum’s voice, she shouted so loud. " mun…mun… longans…" it was obviously the joy, i can hear from her voice. After so many mths of hard work, we harvest our lovely longans for the 1st time. although it wasn’t as big as we thought. It’s suppose to b about the size of a ping pong ball, now it’s only the size of 10cents coins. think bout 5 of it is bout the size of a 20cent coin. Although it’s bit small, but it tasted so sweet yet juicy. wow, juz can’t resist to eat them all. unfortunately, we have to reserve some for dad (coz he alwiz complain bout the tree, afraid it wud b huge n all). We still have some which r not ripe on the tree. we’ll wait for it to b ripe n hopefully it wud b big. oh, 1 thg special bout this longan, the fruit is small, the seed is very small too, it’s nearly tiny, it’s bout the size of….err…let me think…i can’t find anythg suitable to describe the seed, mayb bout the head of the screw..haha!!
