Teacher: Indra
Indra, an Indonesian lady graduated with a Master in Communication in UK. Soon after her marriage to her British husband, Indra made Malaysia her second home. She has always believed that a person’s well being is attained through an optimum balance between body, mind and soul. Indra sees yoga as one of the mechanism to achieve a balanced life.
Indra completed her Teacher Training Course in Yoga Zone before advancing to another Teacher courses under the guidance of Lance Schuler. Though adventurous, Indra is conscientious and meticulous in her teaching. Her strong determination, good understanding and whole-hearted devotion to yoga gave her the confidence to impart her knowledge skillfully and tactfully.
Indra’s insight to integrate her strength in yoga with her knowledge and understanding in nutrition gave zest to a remarkable wellness in life. Her life principle is as simple as "to better the life of others is one of life’s greatest rewards".
Class: Element
Ideal for first timers to yoga. An introduction to the fundamentals of asana practise, the basic postures combined with correct alignment and breathing technique. Class is conducted at a more relaxed pace where students are encouraged to ask questions.
Teacher: Gil
Gil, was a hyperactive child and was once a martial arts freak at a tender age of 9. An adventurous man with a creative mind, Gil won the Best Young Hairstylist award at the age of 21. Having experienced the ups and downs in managing his own business, Gil turned to Yoga as an alternative to distress and relax. His passion for yoga earned him in-depth knowledge about yoga and he began to appreciate the true meaning of yoga. Gil then decided to give up his business and began his journey to share his knowledge in yoga with other practitioners. Gil’s class is very Vinyasa based. Students who anticipate challenging poses are most welcome to have a trial in his Wild lotus or Power Yoga class only if you are game for it!
Class: Yogilates Beginners
Designed on the principles of both Yoga and Pilates. The focus of a Yogilates class is to strengthen the core muscles with the aim of helping practitioners gain body strength and flexibility. Practitioners will gain a better understanding of the body’s muscular system and will be led through a series of postures which are meant to ‘awaken?and better utilize their unused muscles. Those who attend Yogilates classes regularly, will find good results in lengthening their spine, strengthening and firming their abdomen, hips, tights and buttocks, achieving an overall well-toned body!
